The Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a uniquely crafted Speyside single malt whisky that exemplifies the distillery’s spirit of innovation. The “Solera” process, inspired by sherry-making bodegas in Spain and Portugal, involves marrying whiskies aged in a combination of American oak (ex-bourbon), European oak (ex-sherry), and new oak casks in a large oak vat that has not been emptied since 1998.
